South Asian Offenders project The South Asian Offenders project in Manchester works with Manchester Probation area to ensure that cultural issues are taken into consideration in the writing of pre-sentence and parole reports, the supervision of offenders and liaison with victims. The project operates within the Pakistani Resource Centre, which seeks to empower members of South Asian communities to confront some of the problems they face. Volunteers are used to help mentor offenders.
